What is Bullseye?
Bullseye! is a fanzine centered around the Arrowfamily from DC comics.Who is considered “arrowfam”?
For the zine, we are considering Oliver Queen, Dinah Lance, Roy Harper, Connor Hawke, Mia Dearden, Emiko Queen, Sin Lance, and Lian Harper as the “main fam” and Hal Jordan, Shado, Jade Nguyen, Tommy Blake Jr, Robert Queen II, Sandra Moonday Hawke, Grant Emerson, Dinah Sr, Eddie Fyers, Malcom and Tommy Merlyn, John Diggle, Henry Fyff, Bonnie King and Cissie King Jones as “other fam”. The zine will mostly be focused on the main but all these characters are available for contributors to choose from!What canon will the zine follow?
The zine will be based on the comic appearances of the arrows.Is ship content allowed?
Bullseye will be gen, but background shipping content may be allowed on a case by case basis.Is it for charity?
Yes, Bullseye is non-profit. All proceeds will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.What is expected of contributors?
We expect contributors to communicate clearly with mods and check in when asked. Communication will be through Discord. Writers will have a 500-2500 word count expectation for zine works.What do I need to apply?
Artists and writers will need to submit the application form with three recent examples of their work. Though these samples do not have to include the arrows, it is preferable that at least one features a character from DC comics. In their application, prospective creators will be asked to submit two to three concept pitches.
